Okay guys, my cousin needs me to jailbreak his iphone that he just received. I can't do it at his house but i can do it at mine.

So can i jailbreak it at my house, and then can he go home and connect it to his computer and will that restore all the data back on his phone - ie his contacts/messages.

    thanks for the help

Jailbreaking does not wipe up your contacts/messages etc, unless you restore before.
If you need to do a restore, what you can do is jailbreak it, SSH into it and backup the messages/addressbook etc. then restore/jailbreak again. Then put the messages and whatever back in.
