After successfully jailbreaking my iPod Touch 2G, Beatmaker now thinks my iPod Touch 2G is the old 1G version.

Before I jailbroke my iPod Touch 2G I was able to record audio on Beatmaker but now that I have jailbroken my iPod Touch 2G with QuickFreedom and I open Beatmaker and try to record audio I get this message...

"Sorry Audio recording is not possible on first generation iPod Touch"

So it looks like that ever since I jailbroke my 2G with the untethered QuickFreedom patch that it has downgraded my iPod Touch 2G to the first generation

Sorry I was running to conclusions. The problem isn't with the Jailbreak. The Jailbreak is safe and superb.

For some reason when I had the AV out adapter plugged into my iPod Touch 2G, Beatmaker thought my iPod Touch 2G was the first generation model so it wouldn't record audio. When I disconnected the AV Adapter then Beatmaker knew I was using the iPod Touch 2G and I was able to record audio
