Help!! iTunes wont recognize my ipod!!

    ok. ive seen numeros other threads about this, but for all of them, the ipod was jailbroken. mine isnt. its just that this isnt the normal pc that i sync with. it does sync and all that on the other pc. but i dont want to do it on that one (private reasons) plase please i will really apreciate your help!!

    now, it says 'iTunes cannot connect to the IPHONE because an unknown error occurd.' it is an ipod touch!!

    Well... that's odd. Either reinstall itunes or forced reboot your ipod like the person above me posted. Or you can restart your computer because itunes might not work after closing it or something. Well good luck.

    Right... I did this once.. try holding both the power and the home buttons down at the same time. hold 4 about 30 seconds until it turns back on and says to connect to itunes.

    if this does not work try it while connected to pc

    errrr u didnt read it properly lol after the screen goes black (fades down) you let go of the home button

    well, im not sure if im right or not, but my ipod is unjailbroken and i know why itunes wont recognize. its becasuse its not the pc that i regularly sync with. i dont want to sync with its 'normal' pc (for private reasons) is there any way passed it besides a forced restore??

    hey, I (well my dad,) formatted his laptop that we were going to sync the iPod with, TWICE in two days and iTunes recognized it I'm happy now
