    I'm using a 2g iTouch that is running version 4.1 (jailbroken). I used Redsn0w 0.9.6b1 to do a untethered jailbreak. I'm running iTunes 10.0.1.22 on Vista 32-bit.

So, my problem is that when i plug my iTouch into my laptop and open up iTunes, the iTouch isn't detected by iTunes. Hence, i can't transfer my music and apps to my iTouch and this leaves me with a problem. Any suggestions as to how I can get iTunes to read the iTouch or a way to transfer apps/music/etc... without iTunes would be appreciated.

Sharepod for music. I dont think you can transfer apps without itunes. Reinstall driver software.
