HELP! itouch stuck on boot up apple screen

    I cant restore because it has a password, and a thing pops up and says to unlock before you can recognise it in itunes. cant unlock because its frozen on little apple picture boot up screen. i can reset by holding both buttons, but it does the same thing. am i screwed or what? please help!

    That happened to me last nite put it into dfu mode and restore. While plugged into the computer hold the home and power buttons until it turns off then release the power button and continue holding the home button until iTunes says it has found a dfu device and restore.
