    Hey, I was wondering if you guys can help me with a few questions I got.
    I am trying to get my status bar to go landscape. I stumbled upon this thread Link
    And it said to do this.
    I was wondering if someone can assist me on this.
    I used WinSCP and got to the location, and I opened InfoPlist.strings in Notepad and got some giberish. (I can't find the folder anymore)
    I was wondering if someone could direct me to the folder and tell me what I'm doing wrong. I actually don't get what I'm suppose to be doing at all so help is greatly appreciated.

    And I was also wondering which folder would I have to go into to change my icons? I've been searching forever and I haven't found any png formats except for my wallpaper

    Thanks alot in advance

    install Erica utilities form cydia then run this command in WinSCP or Mobile Terminal

    Code:
    plutil -c xml1 /System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app/English.lproj/InfoPlist.strings
    then once you are done editing the file run this command

    Code:
    plutil -c binary1 /System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app/English.lproj/InfoPlist.strings

    I never personally heard of this, I don't think it's that easy either, but who knows, I don't.

    Well I got to here.

    Code:
    bplist00Ó_NSHumanReadableCopyright_UIInterfaceOrientation\CFBundleNameo
    From plistinfo.strings

    Where would I put the code?
    On the thread they say to put the string before </dict> which does not appear?
    ------------------double post merged------------------
    Hmm, nevermind, I solved that.
    Can someone assist me on changing my icons? Thanks

    1. Open your favorite SSH client and enter these commands:
      • cd /System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app;
      • cp Info.plist Info.plist.ORIG; plutil -c xml1 Info.plist
    2. Open WinSCP and navigate to /System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app
    3. You can now edit the Info.plist. Go ahead and add the key and string "UIInterfaceOrientation" and "UIInterfaceOrientationLandscapeLeft" (or "UIInterfaceOrientationLandscapeRight," or "UIInterfaceOrientationPortraitUpsideDown," if you prefer it that way). Save
    4. Now, using WinSCP, navigate to your favorite theme and copy it to your computer's desktop. Open up all the icon images and rotate them the appropriate direction.
    5. Rename the theme on your desktop to TheThemeNameRotated.theme and copy that onto your device into /Library/Themes
    6. Open WinterBoard, select your rotated theme.
    7. Using your favorite SSH client, enter the command:
      • killall SpringBoard;

    Meh, it's all beginner stuff, really. You guys could have/should have helped him out. I only found this thread because JPGA said my name, and I search for my name every so often on the fuorum.
