Hey, I don't kno if I'm in the right place or not but I need help. I have an iPod touch 2 gen 16 gb. Just like within the last week the volume got stuck somehow and I don't know why or how to fix it. It is only stuck in low for headphones. Like if you have headphones pluged in then i can move the volume control up and down but the actual amount of noise that comes out my headphones is always the same! And if I slide the control all the way to the left then it will shut off the noise, but anywhere else it's the same amount of noise.

When I don't have any headphone in and the music is playing through the speakers then it is perfectly fine, like I can turn it both up and down as normal.

But when I have my headphones plugged in then the noise is either off or the lowest it can go despite the fact I'm moving the volume control the whole time. It does this for everything, like all my apps and music.

If you have any ideas please comment. Thanks

Do you have volume limit enabled?

Yes iv used at least 6 different headphones of all diff kinds. I think it could be something wrong in the software because it's not the headphones or headphone jack...so yeah idk...any ideas?

It could have water damage. To find out take a flashlight and shine it in the headphone Jack. If it is pink or red inside that means its water damage
