Hey everyone, I have a 2.0 jailbroken iPod, and a dell insprion 1520 laptop that I normally sync to my iPod with. But now when I plug in my iPod and wake it out of sleep mode, the computer goes into a blue screen and say "An error has occured, and Windows has been shut down to protect your computer" or something similar to that. The computer also displays a lot of other crap, saying what you have to do if it's the first time you see the message, and what you have to do if you see it many times. I've tried this all, but it hasn't worked. Could somebody PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help me?

that happened to me - and a lot of others. to fix this, go into programs and features and uninstall itunes. then re-download the installer and install itunes again. it should be fine now.

It shouldn't, unless you tell it to...

guys i've found the way to fix it. Apparently iTunes 8 and HP printers have problems with each other, so when an hp printer is plugged in and you plug in your ipod with itunes 8 the computer will shut down. So I have to unplug my printer every time. Thanks anyways everyone
