    Hi!
I had a problems with my old ipod so I got a replacement item 2 weeks ago.
For first few days, it worked absolutely fine.
then somehow, it started to turn off randomly, and took forever to reset (I meant by holding home and sleep buttons together).
some random screens that I've never seen showed up - I uploaded the pictures of screen.
Also, I got the white messages saying "panic" "iboot" on black screen...
*it is 8gb 2nd generation that's been upgraded to 3rd gen.

I have no idea what is going on.
I put this replacement item's serial number for apple service, but it said it's been expired, even though I was supposed to have 90 extended warranty days. plus, I couldn't find my ipod's problem on their service category. display error? power error?

agian, it's only been 2 weeks since I got the replacement ipod, I'm frustrated and would rather have the old one back

Wrong section, this is for introductions. Welcome, and make sure you read the rules!! Also, how did you upgrade a 2G to a 3G?

You're device is having a kernel panic on boot, you need to restore your device in iTunes.
