Help! Mac OS 10.5.2 Intel. iPod Touch 1.1.3. I download ziphone and in Terminal I type ./ziphone -a -j. My iPod is now a brick. Only Apple logo when I hold down sleep button or when I connect to Mac.

    Hold down both physical buttons.
Wait for ipod to turn off
    keep holding them
when the apple logo appears let go of the power button
keep holding the home button until the connect to itunes shows up.

DO NOT PUT -A. iPod Touches do not need Activation. Type ./ziphone -j -v

    I've had the same problem.

I ran Ziphone, it gave me the wait 45 min thing, instead of 2min 30 sec, and it went into recovery mode, but itunes didn't "see" it. I did the hard restore, and the touch goes into recovery mode- itunes symbol and usb cable- but itunes doesn't recognize it. I am so pissed right now, I don't know what to do!!!!!

Same exact thing happened to me! I was so worried but I fixed it xD

I don't exactly know how... it was just stuck on the black screen with the Apple logo; I went to go take a shower and asked my mom to hold the home button, when I got out she said she's been holding it and nothing changed. I left it alone for about half an hour, tried it again... and it works! Same as before, I turned it off then held both the sleep + home button... however this time (30mins later) it worked

I will buy all the bricked iPods at a discount for all the people who are traumatized by the jailbreaking experience and see no hope in fixing their devices. And those to lazy to search!
