You would need to put your iPod into DFU Mode.

Since its black and you cant see it (same thing happened to me), it might be a bit of a challenge.

Make sure it is plugged in.
Hold the home & power button for 15 seconds.
After 15 seconds, release the power button, but keep holding the home button.

Keep holding the home button until you hear a beep on your computer.
Once you hear the beep, you will be able to restore it with iTunes.

If youre still having trouble getting it into DFU Mode, you can watch this video tutorial.

Have you tried putting it into DFU Mode before you plug it in. To do this plug it in, turn it off, then hold "Hold" + "Home" for 10 seconds then let go of "Hold" while still holding "Home" for 10 more seconds. Then release "Home". Now it should say your iPod is in restore mode. Hold Shift and Click restore and find the firmware and click on it. The nwait for iTunes to restore it etc etc.

You can try to Shift + Click upgrade and Do the same thing but it may or may not work

It may or may not work meaning may not fix the issue. But it almost for sure should not delete your apps.

Try hooking it up to iTunes and if the device doesn't register then try re-jailbreaking it. If that doesn't work just let it run out of battery, rehook it up to a charger (or iTunes) and try turning it on.
