My iPod crashed today, and when it booted, it booted to the connect to iTunes screen. The weird part is that it boots, but it won't make it to SpringBoard. It will show the battery logo, and holding down the power button will give me the "Slide to power off" prompt. It shows time, Wifi connection, and battery life. I can still SSH to it, and even control this limited state through VNC.

    I haven't installed anything recently.

How can I reinstall Springboard/Winterboard from the terminal. (I think this is where my problem is) I don't want to do a restore.

    Thanks.

EDIT: Here are some screenshots. (Ignore the little Xs. My VNC client sucks)
