Help!! Ipod Frozen!!

    I was on RealArtist and my ipod froze. I do not know what to do, it won't turn off either.
    Help please

    Try holding down the home button for a couple seconds (about 10). If not, try holding the power button for a couple seconds. If that doesn't work, let the power drain.

    if itunes can detect it just hit restore

    noooo that should always be a last resort, a hard reset will definitely fix this persons problem

    yeah this is really only a last last last last resort option..

    hold the home button and the top unlock button together for 5-10 seconds and do a "hard restart" , should work fine i do it all the time

    wait, wouldn't that put the iPod to recovery mode. In other words, thisxwould ask you to restore the iPod?

    thats only if u hold the home button after it turns off which he has to let go of....
