HELP i want to jail break my ipodtouch2gen ver 2.2.1

    what will be the easiest and safest way to jailbreak my ipod?

    please direct me to a link....


    some questions i would like to answered:

    what are the benefits of jailbreaking?
    if the jailbreaking process goes wrong will i be able to restore my ipod?
    what are your favorite features of a jailbreaked ipod?
    is 8g just enough for the applications?
    what kind of games can i put on it? can i play ff8 or ff7 on ps1?

    please help i would really appreaciate it thanks

    jailbreaking can get you 3rd party applications. you can customize your ipod to your feel if you know how.
    yes you can always restore with itunes and try again.
    i can customize it.
    for apps yes. but for me i got the 16 gb. i have many things on my ipod

    i do have another question though. uhmm.... my itouch only has 8gb which gives me storage issues... will jailbreak consume alot of space for my ipod? thanks thanks

    i dont think it will take up space but with all the new stuff you will be able to do you will definitely use up more space then if you keep it normal.

    No. The jailbreak itself takes up a very, very small footprint. The things you can install from the jailbreak like QuickGold or SBSettings, also don't take up very much. It's the collective installations that'll really do you in. However, I have an 8 GB with almost 2 GB left over. I also have 13 GB of music, but... you get the idea.

    Im still updating my ipodtouch to ver 2.2.1. on itunes hopefully i could download quickfreedom.. thanks a lot everyone...!

    ok i have updated my ipod to ver 2.2.1 downloaded quickfreedom i dont have the firmware yet....by the way what is dfu? how to do this?

    I have a 1gen ipod touch, will the http://quickfreedom.com/ jailbreak work fine on mine? or do i have to find like a 1gen jailbreak?
