i was clearing up my jailbroken 1.1.4 ipod touch the other day by uninstalling alot of unused apps. After i had finished i turned it off and when i came back and tried to turn it on i only had to hold the power button for 1 second and the apple logo shows up and nothing else happens, however long i leave it on for. I have tried attatching it to my computer, but on itunes it comes up 'cannot connect to ipod, because it is locked by a passcode, please enter the passcode to continue sink.

    Help PLEASE!!!!!!!!

    1) Download iLiberty+ (Search)
    2) Open and go to "More" tab
    3) Click "Enter DFU"
    4) Open iTunes, and restore

Going into DFU disables the passcode lock.

You'll soon learn that it's nearly impossible to unintentionally brick your iPod.

I mean that it can always be restored. Unless you intentionally delete some important folders or use another method to ruin it.

Or you just SUCK AT PWNING.

But yes, you can pretty much save an iPoT from anything, short of screwing with the bootlader or messing around with system files.

    Yeah lmao.

I was getting tired of looking through all of the *apparent brick* threads, and then I was actually sort of happy when I saw an actual case of an iPoT brick that I could make fun of!
