HELP!!! i need a real expert for this one!!!

    Here is the DL

    Got an ipod touch. first generation. 8 gig.

    I can get three different screens.

    1. Battery dieing please plug in screen. Battery with blinking red line yada yada.
    2. Apple icon
    3. Lots of fast text and then The infamous BSD root: md0, major 2, monor 0
    The bsd root error continues to scrolling and the holding the home and power button does not work.

    Also... battery does not charge

    and

    Itunes nor computer recognize it.

    Put it into DFU mode then restore. Hold down both buttons for ten seconds, then let go of the power button but continue to hold home until iTunes recognizes it. iTunes must be open through the entire procedure.

    putting it in dfu will no doubt work.

    Try using a different computer and see if that one recognizes your iPod, and if it does, then DFU Restore it on that computer.
    You should also try getting a Wall Charger or iHome to charge your iPod.
