My iPod was working fine up until like 10 minutes ago.
When I set it to sleep mode you can still see the screen. It's the unlock screen with the slider but nothing is touchable until i take it out of sleep mode. Also none of my applications respond to touches I can only scroll through my homescreen. I'm uploading a video on youtube so you guys can see what the problem is. I have to wait for the video to finish processing though.

Edit: If there is a solution which doesn't involve restoring, please tell me. I'd rather not delete all of my applications. I have over a GB of them. I'm running 1.1.4 btw.

You might want to let it die and that way it might get fixed and you dont loose anything or you might have to restore and loose everything

this usually happens when you have Kate and Dock installed at the same time
    Kate + Dock = Bad

once, I fixed this problem by restarting my iPod a couple times
might not work but it won't hurt to try if u don't want to restore
