Help! i have never seen this before

    this is really werid i was taking stuff off my ipod through winscp and when i disconnected and restarted my ipod touch the apple sign came up and was flashing and along with it there was the cog. after that i turned it off for the night to see if it might change and it did... but now its really werid there is still the apple and the cog but not the screen is flassing and its like a black and white stripe. im gonna try to put a vid and some pictures up but i would appriciate it if some one had something i could do to fix it besides force restore. i am not new to this but i have never seen this befor. so i would appriciate your help. oh yah im on 1.1.3

    I had the EXACT same problem, just to add some other info, all apps crash as soon as you open them, and as soon as you reboot, the above happens.

    I had to restore.

    Did you just remove your video right when I finished watching it? LOL.

    iPod touch
    try this;

    close your iPod
    hold the home button
    plug the iPod to your computer(holding the home button)
    it should go to restore mode
    now you can restore your iPod
    or
    use iBrickr or Ziphone to exit out of restore mode

    thanks but is there any way i can fix this without a full restore

    actualyl that doesnt alway work with this problem, i had to completely restore when it locked up while changing the theme

    but how do i use Ziphone to get out of restore mode?
