If a file doesn't show up in installer, then I know that I have to use SSH to manually install the app. But HOWWW??

I tried it with caterpillar (1.1.1) and the program started, but then promptly exited.

Changing permissions to 755 (like somebody suggested) made it not work at all, with a pop-up notification saying that the permissions were wrong.

    WHAT TO DO??

Well first of all if a file isnt in installer you just need to find more sources.

Putting apps via SSH is difficult, you have to manually find the app, download it and SSH it into your iPod

Lots of apps will work doing it manually, Caterpillar and the crack are not one of them
