First, I know you're new here, but you really need to search first - this question has been asked and answered several times.

Unfortunately, you need to either manually edit the preferences file located in /System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app/N45APP.plist or track down a program called iOrder which will let you make changes on your Windows machine.

It would be easier to install an app like 'Dock' or 'Launcher'. It makes it easy to launch customize.

QFT. Just install Dock and launch customize and then unhide it.

    • Install Dock and Launch it, or
    • Install Finder and Launch it, or
    • Install a Launcher and Launch it, or
    • Manually edit your N45AP.plist, or
    • SSH in and type: /Applicatitons/Customize.app/Customize, or
    • Use WinSCP, or anything else, and change the Identifier
    • Use a program like iBrickr to access your iPod to change things, or
    • I could keep going...

Please search the fora, as this this has been covered countless times.
