HELP! How to downgrade from 2.2 to 2.11

    Hey i need help with downgrading my iPod Touch for the upcoming Jailbreak... I Don't want to sound like a noob but seriously i have looked on google and on here and it really doesn't help me... could someone please walk me through on how to do it? It would be HIGHLY appreciated!

    Will restoring it delete the apps and things already on it? If so will they still be in my iTunes Apps section?

    I believe if you read the info that the jailbreak will be possible for 2.2.

    Yes. Everything will be deleted from your device.
    iTunes will still have them.

    Yes it will restore everything to default. Just make sure you have a backup file.
    Yes they will still be in your app. section. After you made sure just click restore.

    You have to restore in iTunes.

    Since you have a 2G and assuming you didn't magically obtain the 2G jailbreak tool, I'd say you're fine, because iTunes backs everything up that you have saved on it. Just restore it and it should be back to 2.1.1.

    Once you jailbreak, that's a different story.

    Ya me to man! But to everyone that helped me THANKS! but I'm probably going to stick with my firmware because a lot of people are telling me that you can jailbreak it with 2.2 so I guess ill just do that. THANKS EVERYONE!
