I'm having trouble thinking of how to explain this feature but it's driving me nuts.

If you have an iPhone or iPod Touch you know that if you are in the music player and turn your iPod/iPhone on its side it switches over to 'album' view...where there are no controls for the now playing song other than play and pause...

When the iPod is in my car or in my pocket and I take it out it usually reverts to this mode because it was on its side somehow...but I hate this mode.

I want to disable it completely so my iPod touch ALWAYS displays the regular face up mode.

Does anyone know how I can do this?

Sorry, I don't think there is any way to disable this. Not to my knowledge at least.

There was a Autorotate toggle in SBSettings, but I can't find it anymore.

If you double tap the home button you can get a music player controls screen. Press the button on the left with the circle arrow to lock the player in portrait mode.
