I left my iPod connected to my computer yesterday, and I woke up and it was in Recovery mode, the one with the Cable to iTunes logo. I have tried some methods to get it out of Recovery mode, such as restarting it and my computer, unplugging and replugging, using different USB ports, etc. I have heard of iBrickr, but am unsure if it works for iPod Touch 2G or not. Could someone tell me the easiest way to get out of Recovery Mode?

    iRecovery -f these commands
    setenv autoboot true
    saveenv
    fsboot
it'll boot up but everytime you shut down you go back into recovery mode. Or you could restore to a NOR only firmware.

Put your iPod in DFU Mode
    Type this in iRecovery
    Quote:
    iRecovery -f iBSS211.dfu

unplug and then plug back in

    then type:

    iRecovery -s
    clearenv 1
    setenv auto-boot true
    saveenv
    fsboot
    reboot

    then you will be good

Will it boot into Recovery Mode everytime like the above person said? If so, is there a way to cause it to reboot normally. On an Untethered JB.

No. I'm not being sarcastic. I'm just not wanting to end up with a tethered jailbreak, essentially what booting into Recovery Mode would make me.

Yea. I just need it to ignore Recovery Mode, so it can boot normally.
