Help for upgrade

    Hi everyone, im new here. I would like to know how to upgrade my ipod touch 1G soft 1.1.5 to 2.0 or to any better firmware or new. I dont know how to do it, so plz help me. Thx.

    Plug your iPod into itunes and click "update"...

    2.2.1 is the latest, and it costs $10 I think.

    i know, the fact is that i cant pay to update it... And pressing "Check for update" is for ppl that have might paid for the new firmware..

    You have to pay, And pressing check for update does give you the latest firmware.

    Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes installed and running before attempting to update.
    Connect your iPhone or iPod touch to your computer.
    Select your iPhone or iPod touch when it appears in iTunes under Devices.
    Select the Summary tab.
    Click Check for Update (as seen in the screen shot below):
