If there is something on your screen when you connect it to iTunes, your iPod Touch is NOT broken! Try putting it in DFU mode again.

You have to be very exact with your DFU count sometimes.

Sorry, I didn't watch the whole video, but what happens after you put it in DFU? Does itunes not recognize it?

Trust me, your iPod Touch is not broken. You need to keep trying putting it in DFU, that happens a lot.

    DFU Mode

When i put it into DFU MODE it says on itunes that it has been detected in recovery mode then i click OK then it's goes off like it dose when i try and connect it with the sleep/wake button and home button. After that it just keeps connecting and disconnecting to itunes and wont stop until i stop clicking okay.

Go to an Apple Store and ask for help there or send it back to apple. (If you still can...)
