hi, yesterday i tried to jailbreak my ipod touch 2G with voltage and a guide from internet.
it went al well, and the program said to me that my ipod touch has been jailbreaked, but when i connect my ipod to my computer it say something like: " a hardware device doesn't work well, we dont know wich device."

the ipod also doen's start up, i tried to put it into DFU mode but that doesn't works also.

please help me, i hope u can fix it..

Hello. You need to put it in DFU mode then jailbreak it with redsn0w.

Be very exact with DFU and run redsn0w beta 0.3.

You don't even need to be in dfu mode. Redsn0w will automatically do it for you.

I don't have a touch yet, but from all the responses I've read on this site, bricking is impossible. So whatever it is, you should be able to fix it somehow

Bricking is impossible because the DFU files are READ-ONLY.

Voltage is tethered right? Or did they make an untethered program? If so, then you did a tethered jailbreak and thats why you cant boot your ipod. Use an untethered program to jailbreak it, then you wont have the issue of it not booting
