Hi, I was just wondering how the hell you delete a package under uninstall when it only has "reinstall" for an option instead of "uninstall" like most packages.

I'd rather not restore my iPod completely either, Thanks!

SSH into your ipod and find the file. That would probably do it. If you don't know how to SSH there are plenty of threads around the forums on it plus some good youtube videos as well.

Yeah, I know how to SSH, however I don't know the file layout, could you tell me what folders it would be in?

If you go into var/mobile/library/installer/localpackages.plist I think you can delete packages from in there and they wont show up in installer. but the package will still be installed. so you have to manually delete the app. I havent tried this. but i think thats were the list is stored.

I'm not 100% on this. so its try at your risk.

you can't stop the changes that it does but you can probably remove it from the installer list. (I think someone has mentioned this above somewhere).
if you want to revert the changes then you will have to remove the symlink. ( I don't experiment with symlinks , so ask someone here)
