ok,so I was on cydia... and I went to "manage" at the bottom of cydia, then I clicked sources>edit>add and added a source.. and at the process of adding it, it suddenly went to the ipod touch home screen.. then i tried re-opening cydia, and it never worked then! All it does is have that loading sign along with the "loading data" text.. then after, it just returns to the ipod home screen. Help!

    I have:
    Powered off then on
    rebooted
    safe mode

Please refrain from posting sources that include pirated materials.

To fix it, restore and re-jailbreak, don't add illegal sources.

You would know not to post things like this if you read the rules, please do so. They're in a link in my signature.

Sorry! I won't add Those kind of sources anymore, but is there another way besides restoring it?

Elaborate more on the problem. Is it that right when you go into Cydia it just crashes? Or is there any time before it crashes where you can go into anything?

As I said, it just gives the "loading data" screen, then after 7 seconds or so... It goes back to the apps screen

Hm. Try running blackra1n or spirit again. Blackra1n if you used it, preferably.

So I jailbreak it while it's already jailbroken? By the way, I used spirit to jailbreak

Well my thoughts are that it might 'refresh' Cydia and bring it back to normal. What's your firmware?

    3.1.3 ... Okay, I'll try re-jailbreaking it and I'll post the results

    Use spirit. Blackra1n won't work for 3.1.3
