i recently downloaded 3.0 firmware for my ipod touch 1g. I am now stuck in the recovery mode with the ipod cable and itunes symbol on the screen. When i conect it to itunes this error appears- iTunes could not connect to iPod "iPod touch" because an unknown error occurred (0xE8000005D).

i have tried different cables and hub ports and it does not work. WHAT DO I DO!!!!!!!!

use another user account on the computer. restore on that account, then sync with your regular account.
