Help changing lock screen

    i have been trying to change my lock screen on my ipod touch 1g (jail broke)
    and i can't seem to fathom it

    Could anyone post a link to a thread or explain how to do this
    this question has probably been asked a million times but i cant find the answer

    What are you trying to change? The Image? The Slider? The Background behind the Slider? The Background behind the date and time? The Status Bar? The Clock Font? The Slide to Unlock Text?

    i can change the slider the battery icon but not the background behind the date and time

    I am 90% sure that the background is UILCDBackground.png, which would go into /UIImages.

    where would i find UILCDBackground.png and UIImages.

    You should make an image with the name UILCDBackground.png that is 96px in height. Then you would make a theme and put it in /Library/Themes/. In that theme folder, you make a folder named UIImages, and put UILCDBackground.png in there. Then you would activate it with WinterBoard.
