*Help changing boot logo on my 3.1.2 3G please!!*

    Hello all,

    I have a 3G itouch 64GB 3.1.2 jaibroken with Blackra1n and I want to change my boot logo and recovery logo WITHOUT RE-JAILBREAKING IT!

    You need to use redsn0w.

    It's pointless. iPod touch 3G's are tethered. so you're gonna get the recovery logo and geohots logo each time you boot.

    What I'm saying is that when the battery runs out it shows the apple and when you press the power button it shows the connect to itunes logo. You only see geohot when you are turning it back on with blackra1n.
    I want to change the apple and the connect to itunes logo.

    No, its not possible even with redsn0w because he is using a 3G iPod Touch, and if you check inside the .ipsw the name of the boot image is different, and has different security

    Redsn0w works for the 3G. Yes, which is why under your circumstances it's not possible. The only way is with redsn0w, but it won't accomplish what you want.

    Maybe we could try though..Its not that difficult to find how to decrypt it if I firstly find how to do it on the old iPod Touch 2G (old bootrom)..
