[Help] Change System Strings With Winterboard?

    Ok so first of all yes i did search, and Everyone says that you can edit system strings using winter board is this true? And how do you do it?

    I have the same problem. I would like to change a string with winterboard but it doesn't work.

    don't know how to do it via winterboard but i use iFunBox and a file that i put in the theme i use to change text on slide to unlock for text on the status bar i use Make It Mine, if you want any help just pm

    i find easy seen as i have my ipod connected all the time

    Change Slide to Unlock Text isn't really difficult with Winterboard. The Problem is change .strings of Apps like Settings.

    1) Make a folder and name it or grab an existing theme

    2) get your SpringBoard.strings file and put it in:

    Bundles\com.apple.springboard\en.lproj

    (If u use another language change en.lproj to: "ur_language".lproj)

    PS - u need to make those folders for step 2

    put the folder in the themes folder and apply with winterboard

    solution for me

    Yesterday I found a solution for me to change the "Settings.app" string so I don't have the problem anymore
