Hey there everyone. I wanted to know what I could do about my cracked ipod touch screen. It's jailbroken and what not, but I wanted a second opinion as to what to do about this situation. Thanks a lot.

is it under warranty? can you restore to pre-jailbroken status?

If it's jailbroken, do a DFU restore to a normal firmware... I hear that DFU makes it harder for Apple to find traces of a jailbreak. Hopefully it's under warranty so you can get it replaced. If not, still do a DFU restore and see if you can pay Apple to fix it.

IMO you should send it to an apple shop but before you do so you should restore it to an official firmware so that you are still under warranty.

Thats a HUGE crack! I agree with everyone here. Restore with DFU mode and then send to apple. And by the way, how did you get that big of a crack?
