At first, I jailbreaked my iPod touch. I then un-installed it so I could download the new apple applications. After that, the iPod touch would work, but music and videos (when clicked on from the home screen) just returned to the home screen. I then used the Pwnage tool for mac and tried to upload a clean 1.1.4 version to the iPod. It started out installing okay, but I think half-way through the process, the iPod just turned off. (It was at the screen where it looked like terminal and started to say something like "Auto Pwn"). When I try to turn it back on, nothing shows up and it won't turn on or go into recovery mode. I've tried it on multiple computers and it still won't turn on. What can I do?

    Ok...This is what you do...

First of all turn off the iPod by holding down the home and lock buttons. Then try to Plug the iPod into the computer while holding the home button, until you see an iTunes restore logo.

Edit: Since you said it does not go into recovery mode, my bad

Have you tried ZiPhone Advanced Options to see if you could kick it out?

First of all, please don't use the word bricked. Have you tried booting it in DFU mode?

I really am not sure what you mean. I'm sort of new to doing stuff like this on the iPod Touch and iPhone.

I'm actually pretty sure that I did brick it. It won't turn on and there's no DFU mode available. I've searched the forums for other posts like this but have found nothing. Any help?
