    Hey,
I was doing the ipod 1.1.3 update/jailbreak in installer.app when the apple screen and the update screen started flashing.
Then it told me to plug my ipod touch into itunes when and it wouldn't mount. So id did a hard re-boot and it gave when it loaded up the screen was flashing between the apple logo and the plug into itunes screen. It still won't mount. I'm delirious please HELP ME!!

Do a hard restore. Make sure that your ipod is connected to your computer and itunes is open.
Just do what I said, it will work.

Did you try this? It WILL work!

If for some reason it doesn't try ibricker.
    Download ibricker
    extract
    run it
    connect iPod touch
ibricker should find it and tell you how to fix it. (red=good;green=bad)

If all else fails try to SSH into it. (providing you downloaded it and you iPod has a charge)
    Or
take it to apple if it doesn't show any features like a jailbreak they should give you a new one.
(yea I know what your going to say but apple doesn't really care you will be fine they usually give you one)
