I have tried both of Jokers methods neither work. I have deleted my applications and reinstalled them but my iPhone just freezes and then gets stuck at boot logo again. Please help me I hate not having apps and I cant restore.

Enter DFU mode and then you can restore.

    Hm....I do not know then.

Check out the Joker's tutorial on it. It is stickied on this site somewhere.

Wish I didn't agree with the consensus of the group here but like you I didn't want to restore and it cost me more time than I cared to waste (Friday to Monday through something like 5-6 different restore methods and Joker's methods).

A DFU restore to a clean 2.0.1 firmware followed by a DFU restore to a pwned 2.0.1 firmware seems to have stabilized my iPhone and iPod so far, but I also cut back on the apps I had from the app store. It still freezes on the logo on occasion (after installing from Cydia), but it boots up eventually.
