After running jailbreak.bat and restoring patched FW in itunes, my ipod won't do anything. Itunes doesn't recognize it so I can't restore. Windows doesn't recognize it. No matter how long I hold down the buttons I can't seem to get into recovery or dfu mode. HELP!!!

    That's good. Run Boothelper.

    Use this tut:
    http://www.ifans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=137796

    And do step 13.

I know the tut you're using and lots of people had problems with it seeing as the CMD won't recognize the iPod and skip a step until it is recognized.

It is meant to be like this all you have to do is put it into DFU, the screen wil still be blank but itunes will sense it and you can inject patch and boot the jailbreak

In that situation, always always run the boot.bat file (I'm assuming boot.bat and boothelper is the same exact thing) and then follow the instructions (going into DFU mode etc).
