Last night, I upgraded my ipod touch gen 1 to the latest firmware, 2.2.1.
Before that I had already jailbroken my ipod and placed my games/apps in folders using the app Categories.

After upgrading and jailbreaking, all the games/apps that were in the folders are not on the springboard. There was only Cydia, and Installer wasn't there.

I opened Cydia and installed winterboard and categories, but they too didn't show up on the springboard.
I have tried formatting my entire ipod(took an hour) and upgrade and jailreak but the problem still exists.

New apps that I d/l shows up on the springboard, but apps that were in the categories folder doesn't.

I can't access the Categories app as it used to be in a folder too.

What is wrong and how can I fix it?
