Help a noob out

    just got installer and trying to get a theme, i downloaded one from installer but i dont see anything different, do i have to do something else?

    also, is there a way to view the theme before downloading?

    You need summerboard for themes to work.

    ur gonna need summerboard to use a theme. U get it thru installer and u can use themes that u download by using summerboard (aka SMBprefs) & apply the theme fron there. And i dont think u can preview a theme b4 downloading

    summerboard can be found in the installer?

    ok i lied, i installed summerboard and i have the preference icon and when i go in and select a theme nothing happens, i pressed the home button and everthing looked the same after it made me slide

    i would uninstall both the theme and summerboard... restard your device. download summerboard and then the theme, restart your device, go to SMBprefs click themes and your theme should be there...

    You have to toally restart your iPod after you install Summerboard. Also, when you select a theme, in SMBPrefs, tap restart springboard at the bottom. That will apply the theme.
