gotta get a new one, quick!

Please help me out: should I get a used 1st generation one (easy jailbreak) or the second generation one - dedicated volume, speaker, audio in, (skype! yeah!) but...

    a) is there still the problem with the yellow screen - that would really bug me!
    b) the jailbreak seems complicated, that boot thing and all the complainin' in the forums and there seems to be no easy way coming soon. or is there?

what do you experts think? I've been searching the forum high and low but i'm probably just a stupid n00b, any threads on this are also appreciated.

also I wanted to hear your opinion on this right now, as of february 28th.

    THANKS!

First thing, sorry for you loss.

I've never heard of a yellow screen problem, so no not as far as I know.

For the 1st generation, it's as simple as clicking some buttons when told to. For the 2nd generation, it's a little more complicated compared to the 1st generation, but you'll be able to do it.

You're not stupid, your just new to everything. We all started somewhere.
