What's up Im new to apple products, well sort of I have a shuffle I won in a contest. I ordered a 8gig Touch on Black Friday. I've been using my PSP for all of my portable media needs as of now. I was wondering if there's anything I should know to make my experience better. Thanks

You could "click" on my name and read my posts, except the last one. That one was really stupid. However, my posts for beginners are pretty good: condition the brand new battery four or five cycles, avoid discharging the battery into the red (20% remaining) because the number of full discharge and full charge cycles is directly related to battery life. But be sure to condition the new battery before attempting to connect up to iTunes for the 1st "sync" and do not interrupt the process: it may be slow to begin to show the "sync" screen and slow to complete the process.

You might load up some music, using iTunes to convert the music to AAC for better stereo.

Maybe download music video? Maybe podcasts?

Maybe games? Check out the "Search" near the top of the page: input "games". Maybe start a thread, asking people to list their favorite games.

This is my favorite iPod Touch forum. Check in, often.

    WELCOME !
