Is it possible to plug an ipod touch into a computer, whether it is running Windows, Linux, Apple mac etc, and use it as a external keyboard FOR the computer? I am aware there is a app for using it inside windows but since I have a jailbroken 2G ipod touch I was wondering if there was any others out there.

(Whenever I search google, all I find is stuff on that logitech keyboard for the itouch

I think VNC would work, but I'm not 100% sure.

Vnc looks nice, but what if I could use it by USB?

You can still use VNC. It works the same way, and there are a couple ways to use storage on the iPod touch. But there is no way to use your iPod as a keyboard solely through USB.
