Hello, i am a n00b and i need help.

    Hey, nice to meet you all.
    I just purchased Ipod touch(1.1.2) and i want to know how to get started with all the applications\games\themes stuff. i mean- how can i install the applications, the games and more.
    I'v heared about "jailbreak" or something and i want to know exactly what is it .

    downgrade

    hi you have to downgrade your firmware first to 1.1.1.1

    the info is all over the forum and google here is a link to post in forum that someone has put all the stuff together.

    Thak you very much akermar, i successfully jailbreaked my ipod. Now, i am trying to install a Theme to my device from the "Installer", the theme successfully installed but nothing is changing, i mean the theme is not changing. What is the prob?

    have you installed the bsd subsystem not sure if this is required for themes but seem to remeber reading that it was.

    also have you set theme required in SMBPrefs. just because theme says it is installed does not mean it is set as your theme till you set it in the SMBprefs.
