Don't worry, and don't be nervous. Nothing can be done to the ipod that can't be fixed with force restore.

    Hope you enjoy it here!

I jumped off a 60 foot cliff into a river once. I was really nervous to do it, but once I jumped, I was so happy that I did

Note: The iPod Touch Fans forum doesn't condone jumping off of 60ft cliffs. (Unless everyone else is doing it

I'm guessing it was a deep river.

Funny you ask... It was about 25 feet deep and I hit the bottom...twice. Not hard, but my feet and ass both hit rock. I used it to push off of to come back to the surface. It took 5 or 6 really good swim strokes to reach the surface. I am a really good swiimer, and it scared the crap out of me... enough to do it again

A local that was there, told me he had never heard of anyone hitting the bottom before, and he didn't believe me.

Back on topic.. I was scared to jailbreak too.. for about 5 minutes, then everyone reasured me that I could just restore if anything failed. I only jailbroke once, months ago using touchfree5, and I haven't needed to restore since.. I have 6 and a half pages of apps on my ipod that run smoothly.
