I have had Cro-Mag since the first day of the appstore, and although it got old fast, and crash is about 100X better than it, I was looking through my library today, and saw it was 50 mb! How come cro-mag is 50 mb with only 7 stages, and SMB is 15 mb with over 100 stages, and Moto Racer is 15 mb with like 10+ stages, and crash is 7 with 12 stages...anyone have an explanation for this?

Different Skins or better graphics? That shouldn't effect it though :x

Prob because Cro-Mag is made with crap programming, and everyone thinks that crap coding makes a big app ==O

could be, different compression, higher res images, more complex 3D models, "filler" code, it is different companies, so they put apps together differently

Cro-Mag for the mac existed since like 2002/3 (or am I wrong??) and it used Carbon. The AppStore version is almost identical to the original one, so it was probably laziness (lack of optimizing the code for Cocoa and the iPhone). They said they ported it in like 3 days, probably because they took all their old stuff and simply jammed it in there

cro mag uses high quality sounds and music so the alrge sound files are what make up the 50mb among other things.
