Heelp,

    OK so im at school, and theres about 50 computers running on wireless internet somehow, or they just all have there on modem, but i higly doubt a highschol would do that..
    There obviously hiding it but i dont know how, any clue on how to get around it? im soooo bored, aha

    look at the back of the computer and see if there really is a ethernet cord

    Either the SSID is hidden (not broadcast) or there is a MAC filter. If the SSID his hidden, you will need to know the network name and enter it in manually.

    Search "crack wep"
    On iPod can't link.

    The problem may not be that the network is encrypted, simply that the SSID is "stealth" and must be entered in manually, obviously requiring knowledge about the specific network.

    When im back to school ill check,
    and also if i connect, and its known, will i have to retype it in everytime i want to connect?

    I think your ipod will connect automatically when in range. I am not positive as I have little experience will hidden SSID's.
