I'm an owner of a 1st Gen Ipod touch, I've had it for around 2 years now but recently the sound has become crappy, like I have to move headphones around alot just to get a sound out of it

Was just wondering, because its such a small problem would apple fix it for a small fee or would it cost me stupid amounts to get it fixed. I've tried loads of headphones in the port and still the same outcome. Its getting a bit anoying now if i'm honest.

    Many thanks in advance

im not sure how much it would cost to be honest if you have any tech freinds the headphone jack itself is only 5 pounds on ebay so could save money that way

I suppose that would be quite a big saver, I could probably do it myself, but don't know how to open up the case on the touch.
