About a week ago my left earbud stopped working. At first i thought i needed new headphones and i got a new pair but still the left side didn't work. I even tried my friends headphones and still didn't work.
Then i realized that i could wiggle the headphone jack inside the iTouch which isn't normal as it shouldn't move at all inside..

I am guessing i have to open up the iTouch and work from there? Hopefully i won't have to do that, i don't wanna f*** around with my iTouch to much cause i don't wanna f*** it up even more. But if that is what i have to do then i will do it.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

the 3.5mm jack thingie probably got loose.
You would have to resolder it somehow.

take it in to the store and then tell them it was an iPod error and that it wasn't anything to do with you.

Ok well here is the thing... I kinda got it for $120 off my friend. I got it like 6 months ago and it was it perfect condition, not even a scratch on it when he sold it to me so i know it's not from anything my friend did cause this just recently happened like a week ago.

If i got it off my friend and went to the apple store about this problem, would they want a receipt or whatever?

Do you know the apple #?

Ye, that seems like that is the problem.

Ok but unjailbreak (if you are jailbroken) before doing anything that involves apple.

Why would i do that? They can't do sh*t about it. It's already been done and it's my iTouch, what i do with it is my business.

Either you're 10 years old and that is a serious question or your attempt at comedy has failed.
