headphone jack is messed up

    i went to listen to my music the other day and I noticed that the song was missing all the bass and it came out of one ear

    Can anybody help or suggest a solution the problem

    I'm assuming it isn't the headphone jack but the actual headphones. Are they the stock iPod headphones?

    Try using them with your computer or another device that can be used with headphones, and see if they are doing the same thing.

    I had the exact same problem. A temporary solution is just to "wiggle" your headphones around until they kinda work.

    I ended up having to go to that apple store to get a new ipod

    i tried a different pair of headphones with ipod and it did the same thing... and no they are the apple headphones i think they are from Sony.. but i think i will just take back to the apple store to see if they know what the problem is

    take them to the apple store, they'll replace them for you.

    oh and i think the warrenty is longer on the headphones. or if not, just borrow a friends iPod!
