Headphone jack broken

    I currently own a 2nd Gen ipod touch, a few months ago (mid april, just before warenty ran out

    ) the headphone jack broke, it worked on one ear most of the time, then when i walked the other one would keep on fuzzing u, then cutting out and jumping.

    I sent it back so they sent me a new one out, now i'm having nearly the same problem, except this time both sides cut out completely sometimes, and others you can only hear the backing music; vocals are off. It is over 90 days since i got it back now, though around mid-july ihad problems but assumed it was my earphones.

    I only just got around to getting new ones as well.

    Is there any way to fix this? I really can't afford to send it to apple right now, plus if i did i would loose everything on it, like last time.
